Lecture Friday, May 15 in Utrecht

The Center for Advanced Gaming and Simulation (AGS) and the Dutch chapter of DIGRA organize four times a year a meeting for the Dutch game researchers. We meet at the Faculty Club Helios, address: Achter de Dom 7a, Utrecht. The meetings normally consist of two lectures, followed by some drinks for further discussions. The meetings will be held in English.

The next meeting is scheduled on Friday, May 15, 12.00 – 14.00 hrs.  Participation in this meeting is free. It is necessary though to register. Please register here.

Maaike Lauwaert (Mondriaan Stichting and Canadian Centre for Architecture in Montreal) talks about her fresh book publication ‘The place of play’ and Jeroen van Mastrigt (Lector Art & Technology at the Utrecht School of the Arts) will discuss ‘Practice led R&D in game design’.

Please note that we are having a lunch session (lunch included) as we would like to encourage you to go to the symposium and booklaunch of “Digital Material: Tracing New Media in Everyday Life and Technology” (AUP, red. M. van den Boomen, S. Lammes, A.-S. Lehmann, J. Raessens en M.T. Schäfer) which takes place from 14.00 onwards in the nearby Studio T.
